029 - The Secret of Nacabre's Castle

This comic was first printed by Gold Key as #13  in August 1965. The scripts were written by Bill Lignante & this IJC cover  is work of late Govind Brahmania. There were rare occasions the original covers were more attracting than his.
Compare yourself.

However, this Indrajal is more colourful than original print. Worth to download.

Some damaged panels fixed with help of old remix version. Enjoy this C2C absolutely new  100% Indrajal scans!

Thanks much Prabhat & Ajay. Love the cover art, and no denying in that fact, that they are far better than their Angrezi counterparts :)

Hi Ajay,

:-D

@Rafiq Raja: Thanks! Govind ji had created in 99.9% cases far better, but this GK cover is really better.

PBC on 10 January 2010 at 14:30 said...

@AJAY: If I'm not wrong, all GK scans are good. Need to check again. I recommend to scan at priority basis - Indrajal, Frew, ACK which are not available or need improvement.

Hi Prabhat, Ajay, Ajnabee,

You being the collectors of really rare comics...I have to place this request to you. Do you have the entire Frank Bellamy newspaper strips of Garth?

I have looked a lot for it but could not find it....

PBC on 10 January 2010 at 14:42 said...

@Old Man Mozz: I don't have at present. But I'll try to find out.

PBC on 10 January 2010 at 15:03 said...

@Old Man Mozz: Some I already posted at BC. Hoping in next 24 hours, I'll have all or at least many. I'll send you or post these at priority basis. Cheers!:)

I have one Garth collection, which is in my Home PC. I will have it sent over to Prabhat, late next week. As I have to recover the primary hard disk which has failed yesterday :(

PBC on 10 January 2010 at 15:23 said...

@Rafiq Raja: Sad to know about your hard disk. Hoping you know how to recover. Is the hard disk crashed or window only?

Hoping by that time, I'll able to post what I can. Later check with you.

Rafiq Raja on 10 January 2010 at 16:04 said...

Hey Prabhat, unfortunately it's the hard drive. I have around 4 Internal Hard Drives, so most of my contents are backed-up simultaneously. The one which failed was the primary one, so I hope that the damage isn't much, which would be limited only to recent downloads, which i can always download back.

The first time a hard disk has crashed for me, since I started using computer 15 years back. Seems Hard disk and crashes are bound to happen :)

Since I have 2 more laptops, no disconnections to internet. That's the good thing :)

PBC on 10 January 2010 at 16:39 said...

@Rafiq Raja: In last 3 years, my 2 hard disks were crashed, both were system disks in different computer. First one was not divided, but my programmer detached it immediately and through some program was able to extract all info (around 70 GB). He explained, "As less we use before special treatment, better chance to recover info". Pls contact someone or just download rest.

Later he divided that very disk, just skipping bad sectors. Till today it is working. :)

Sadly he's no more working for me, left the city. Otherwise could explained or gave some good tips.

Thanks Ajay and Prabhat,

shiploads of thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!
Really a good quality scan-----59.4MB-----IT IS CALLED A REAL HQ SCAN ------ AAHA!!!!!!

It is great to have these comics full and in HQ.
Yes I like the idea of GKs in HQ--- and also Frews.

P.S.---- Are HT people are planning to reprint the IJCs again ?-------Any news ?

Best of Luck.
Rakesh

@Rakesh: This comic was in very good condition, only some panels were damaged & texts were written in Hindi manually.

I checked some C2C IJC (size 35-60 MB) at HR 100+ cm tv screen. Really it's OK. That's why not saving at 12, otherwise size were 100-120MB. :)

We can come back to GK later. However, if many would like, these could be shared earlier.

No news about reprinting. Is HT planning or TOI?

Dear Ajay, your collection and your friend circle is our ultimate holy grail, as we can keep getting and enjoying our favorite comics non-stop.

Hope that the party will continue like this ever in future.

Colonel Worobu on 11 January 2010 at 08:18 said...

Dear Ajay,

I concur with Prabhat on the Gold Key Phantoms. The available GK issues are already in good quality. I noticed that you have Pioneer Phantoms, which I think are not available on the net anywhere. Maybe those will be worth scanning?

Mr. Walker on 11 January 2010 at 19:42 said...

thanks..this is great stuff..looks like the countdown is really on..hoping to see more comics in this month..

PBC on 12 January 2010 at 12:56 said...

@Mr. Walker: I'm also hopeful. Just posted an Indrajal at this topic. Enjoy!

Sorry, I'm late in sending you the list of missing pages IJC! The numbers of pages could confuse, so decided to send very small size pictures, would be easier to check.

Ajay Misra on 13 January 2010 at 05:30 said...

Colonel Worobu: Thanks but as far as Pioneer comics are concerned , these are only print outs of Sunday stories which are basically all avialable on PBC too , you will not anything special, even posted scans are in HQ & are of International quailty only .

PBC on 13 January 2010 at 14:11 said...

@Ajay Misra: As Pioneer's comics part is available, you can scan rest pages. The strips might be arranged inside another way, however there is no need to bother about it. A fan can enjoy remixing himself if he wants. Mostly fans would certainly like to see the covers, I guess.
