V25N20-1988-Phantom-Prisoner in the Tower (It’s reprinted version of #12 which is available in Hindi & English online.)

Friends who can read Hindi and English (both versions), today they are completing collection of three more Heroes “Mike Nomad”, “Lt.Drake” and “The Phantom” .
The Phantom: Total 402 IJC as main story (Including all reprinted versions) - First issue #1 (1964), Last issue #V27N06 (1990). English collectors need 10 more IJC & Hindi collectors need 289 IJC only .


Lt. Drake: Total 18 IJC as main story - First issue #379 (1981), Last issue #V22N24 (1985). English collectors need 5 IJC & Hindi collectors 11 more.

Mike Nomad: Total 7 as main story - First issue #383 (1981), Last issue #V20N35 (1983)

Only #383 is available in Hindi online.
Out of 803 Indrajal Comics, we need 57 in English, however only 242 are available in Hindi. Friends, who can read both, need 18 IJC only.

Wishing you all a very Happy Earth Day. I have some fantastic news to report. The blog's attempt to reach out to individuals having rare stories and panels of Mandrake has paid off I feel. I am very lucky to be able to get in touch with those elite few. Please join me in welcoming 2 new contributors Einar johnskås from Norway and John Weathers from US.

John has been kind enough to share the return of the mirror people story in English from his collection and will be made available here soon after Indrajal Comics are completed. Thanks a lot. Einar johnskås has been able to locate the first 2 weeks of Lothar the Champ story in English!!! Many thanks to him for his efforts and in sharing his treasure.

So, on Earth day this year, how are you celebrating? Recycling or walking somewhere instead of driving or trying to find ways to reduce your carbon footprint? I know how I am going to contribute, by not printing anything today and going to drive less today. I recycle as much as I can and encourage my kids to do the same.

Ohh I forgot, the blog visits has crossed 100,000!!!

Today we are completing our Indrajal Comics collection (English) of two heroes: Buz Sawyer & Aditya.

1. Buz Sawyer was a popular comic strip created by Roy Crane that ran from November 1, 1943 to 1989. The last strip signed by Crane was dated 21 April 1979. In June 2006, King Features' email service, DailyINK, began running Buz Sawyer dailies from the beginning.By 2009, this run had brought Buz into civilian life.

In India, total 11 Indrajal Comics were published featuring Buz Sawyer as main hero.
First appearance: 377 (1981)
Last appearance: V20N23 (1983)

2. Aditya appeared only thrice in Indrajal Comics. Rest 2 ( V24N28 & V24N41) are available in this blog HERE.

Good news:
All Phantom (except #16) & Mandrake English Indrajal Comics are scanned. All English Flash Gordan & Bahadur IJC will be scanned "very soon". And it's not all whole the story ......

1. Tinkle fans: A 12 years child, Parishi (http://parishi26.blogspot.com/) entered in comics blogging with her OWN SCANS & OWN COMICS. One should note that his father’s have tons of comics, but….. Bravo!

My team will not post “Tinkle” & some her favorites anymore favoring a new generation blogger.

2. IJC fans: The Pioneer IJC blogger TCP (http://thecomicproject.blogspot.com/) has started celebrating 4th Blogging Anniversary week.

I & Bala will not post more than 3 Indrajal Comics in our blogs as TCP will post 4 IJC till 17th April. He has already posted 2 Indrajal comics.

Following information is based on information received from Ajay, Venkit & Anurag.
