Scanning is superbly done by Ajay Mishra and excellent editing done by PBC as usual. Previous post of this comics contained slightly dark pages from left side and bright pages from right side. Every page was dark from one side and bright from other. But what can i say about this post ? I am unable to find any word for its praise , It is just like as one is reading comics under bright sun light in winter ! When indrajal was posted under bookscomics blog, then the main aim was to post all 803 indrajal whatever the condition may be. But now under Indrajal-online, QUALITY matter is the main factor as one can notice since 10 April 2010 in every post. Now we can show our children that how we were entertaining ourselves during our childhood period ( this period is still going on after 30 years !!!!) Long Live Indrajal Regards Vishal (Pret)
@Bengali Indrajal Comics: It's really beautiful comic. We'll try to share a new & better version of #153. Let me complete reorganization of all our IJC posts & scans first. :)
@chaltaphirtapret: Minor correction- my goal about IJC at Books & comics was to complete 803 only, not post all myself. In past always encouraged to post others & tried to share ready scans for me - it's fact. You know, even now encouraging to post all friends - that's why we've a such a big team. Isn't it?
Wait for my 13th May (the day 1st IJC posted at BC)& 17th May (1st IJC posted at Indrajal Countdown) posts HERE, I'll share real story - how PBC became IJC blogger. :)
As I saw that it was already a possible task - sharing missing Eng IJCs & collecting atleast all Eng - started thinking about cleaned copies. Here the same person who requested to start IJC posting & helped a lot with other comics - his scans motivated me. His is known as Aznaabi. :)
About earlier version: Behind earlier version, there was really very hard work by several persons. We were about to complete, some IJC were missing. We asked publicly, none came forward. One promised to send scans & we announced Final Day. In last moment, he informed he could not.
Earlier means more rare one we had, and later which was more easily available, may be many had - unable to get. :)
In that very period, Shekhar Chandra Ji visited from USA. You can understand how he was busy here. Meeting with all in different cities & doing rest his personal works. Ajay called him, he hadn't scanner at his home in India. That very day, there was Puja at his home. Same day he took his digital camera & while puja was going on- he was sending photos. it was around 20 hours before first round final post.
I was almost not familiar with PS. Was happy as I could post as promised, but sad too. Aznaabi asked me in letter about preparation in evening. As I informed my troubles, he took all scans around 10 P.M. Send me back around 5 A.M morning - improving as much it was possible. I scheduled post and went to sleep. :)
Note: I saw many digital photos of many IJC, even by professionals. without cleaning it was best comparing to all earlier available at net.
So bhai, that version - may look not as good as this one - but one of the best for me.
I always considered & consider - all attempts are worth to praise. With time technology has changed. What was super some years ago, at new monitors - generally doesn't look so well. But those scans brought us in such situation, we can think & talk about improving quality. Otherwise we were still hunting to see any scans of missing IJC.
It's another reason, I was requesting all to join hands. To show history as it is. That's why trying to bring every version of an IJC here, but friendly only.
Many of the visitors don't understand efforts, let get and enjoy only. But as I always said, to encourage the contributors, not me - if they will do- will get more IJC.
Any can create a free blog, some can write good texts. But very few come forward with scans/physical copies, no matter what the reason. And strange, people say thank generally to blogger - It's a fact. :)
@prabhat: Something about PS! You asking my PS method in my post, we normally used PS for Post Script, so I think you want to know about Bengali PS Fonts, which I used in my translated IJC.
However, after reading this comment I realize maybe you asking about Photoshop. If it is about Photoshop, please tell me. Thank you and waiting for next posting.
AMAZING.....that is the only word to describe the efforts put in by all the scanners (Aznaabi, Ajay and all the other unnamed persons) .....You guys deserve an ovation for the final output....Hat"s off gentlemen
amazing and wonderfully coordinated effort. I can only thank all those pioneers in the field, who had the intention to share their wealth, which have become untraceable or almost unreachable for thousands of craving fans.
Please keep going strong, and I am also interested to learn the origins of PBC the IJC blogger :)
