This Indrajal contains two comics along with some more 1 -2 pages comics:
1. Track Hunter: The Legend of the Diamond Crocodile (4 pages)
2. The girl (19 pages)- It was first printed as the Sunday strips #13 -The Strange Fisherman (01-Jul-1945 ~ 02-Dec-1945)
Writer: Falk
Artist: McCoy
This story starts after the dramatic events in the golden village (read S012 The Golden Princess or IJC #18 ). On return the Phantom and Diana are surprised to see new visitors as the Marshall Sisters in the Deep Woods. To enter in Deep Woods, they have introduced themselves as the wives of the jungle ruler and have been accepted as such by the Bandar.
We know that the first Sunday strip in Indrajal Comics was S#12. To know more about the Marshall Sisters, read S008 - S010. All refereed strips are available HERE.
Needless to say this creates immediate friction, and after some explosive situations, Diana decides that she must leave the Deep Woods forever. However, this is just the beginning of the Phantom’s problems, as Diana and the sisters soon become unwilling victims of a highland prince Simitar’s 'fishing' expedition.........
Read yourself, here is comic:
2000px width (45.95 MB):
1600px width (18.78 MB):
Note: 1600px wide file is specially reduced in size, keeping relatively higher resolution. In future, I'll try to give 2 links whenever cleaned & upload for myself or others members. All suggestions for further improvement are most welcome.
This vintage comics is scanned & edited by Anurag Dixit from own collection. Since a long we were searching cover to cover version. That's why, I just tried improving. Could be improved better, however, hoping you would find good enough for reading.
I am stunned and speechless by seeing this stupendous "IJC" onslaught launched by Prabhat Bhai !
ReplyDeleteThanks Anurag for your meritorious effort !
Splendid work again. I liked the writeup also.
ReplyDeleteJust one more request, please also mention, together with the download link in the post, the width of high resolution version in pixels. Whether it is 1800px or 2000 or 2200 px wide. Mention of file sizes in MB would make the links even more convenient for readers to choose between.
I know I am sounding much demanding. :)
Hi PBC and Anurag

ReplyDeleteThanks for this old classic. I am working from home this week. So took a break to see what's up. I find that CPP became Azad in August. Wonder if it had anything to do with Azaadi on Aug 15th!!
