In continuation of the discussion in the previous post, I have scanned all of my personal copies of IJC comics between #201 & #300. I have tried not to tread on the feet of other people as far as possible by skipping scanning of comics which they mentioned would be appearing on their blogs.
I have now started sharing (or maybe cheating, as referred by some) my comics starting from 301. While most of them are C2C, I do have a few where the covers got badly damaged during the process of binding followed by movement during my many transfers when I was employed in India.
I do not want to steal the thunder from any of the people who have been scanning and blogging IJCs. My only aim in the first phase and now, is to share whatever I have for other people to enjoy. This will continue.
You will be getting more and more comics in the days to come. I might just skip the reprints of comics, so that we can have C2Cs of different comics.
You are doing a great favor to people like me who don't have access to these great classics or are too lazy to dig deep into shady corners of their cities to find these gems. we're grateful.
Thank you Venkit. In my opinion, you do not have to skip scanning issues even if someone else plans to scan them. After all, you are not stealing someone else' scans and passing off as your own.
I have commented only at times but have downloaded almost all the comics in the blog. And everytime I download I can see the amount of effort put in by you for cleaning the scans and I wonder how long it must take you to do it.This is a wonderful service you are doing and please keep posting all your copies .If your priority is above 301 right now then so be it,but ultimately we need all your stuff :)
@Sumant - It is not a question of priority. The fact is I have scanned and shared thru this blog, all my comics below #300. So now I am sharing 301 and above.
If you wade thru this blog, you should be able to get a lot IJCs - both Hi-Res & Low-Res.
@SumantIncluding this post, there are 638 English (approx 80%), 136 Hindi & 3 Marathi numbers avilable in this blog. Many numbers have more than 1 version, in this counting several versions are taken as one.
6 more IJCs under 140 scanned by Venkit, which need fixing like this number are pending.
@venkit I'm also agree with Col. Worobu. You'll scan all your Indrajal as you wished or not, it's your choice.
However, you must know that people who say others for not scanning, atleast one person scanned & will scan same numbers. He requests/says about skipping until that number not avilable with him. We know very well since first round.

In my childhood I owned 325+ Indrajal comics (till late 1980s), mostly in hindi. That was my prized collection which nobody was allowed to touch!
By 1991 or so I grew up and suddenly thought to get rid of those comics (weirdly thinking that those are only for kids and now I am a grown up who should dissociate with the kid stuff). So I sold them to a raddiwala's shop (could you believe this!! yes with my own hands!! how stupid of me?)
Thanks to you folks I now have more indrajal comics in digital format than I ever had in the hard copy!!!
As I downloaded the 1979-1983 lot (mixed in english and hindi) tears came to my eyes. Just can't tell you what have you given me back!!! And don't how how can I contribute to the effort! (would love if more hindi versions are found and scanned!)
Many Thanks to Venkit, Anurag Dixit, Anupam Misra and others who have taken time for this painstaking effort!!! Truly the GHOSTS WHO WALKED!!
