2.    Mandrake’s D-169:The Cooler (12 Dec 1977 - 8 Jul 1978)
Artist: Fred Fredericks

Note: These stories were completed in 3 parts.

    Many times, the sequel does not live up to the hype created by the original (prequel?). But this one was really an exception.

    I dont know how many times I visited my comic vendor, in anticipation of this comic.  Every time when the 2nd/3rd part of a great thriller arrived, it used to be a lot of festivity among our friends and this one was no doubt, one of the most awaited final part. :) Thanks PBC & Venkit for this great present.
