Everyone, new/old blogger/contributor, who can work as team are most welcome, please don't wait for invitation only - you can contact yourself too. I've to ask some more bloggers,  from some waiting answers also.  We are going to open the new bog on 10th April 2010 at 10.04 AM (IST).    Please visit!

Today sharing one demanded Hindi IJC.

It's first came in life as the Sunday Strips #64 - The Founding of the Jungle Patrol ( 05 July 1964 to  24 Jan 1965)
Writer: Lee Falk
Artist: Barry
IJC Cover: Govind Brahmania

Why this comic today. Because, it's one of those IJC which came on-line due to real team event.
  • The Physical Copy was provided by  Abhishek Asthana
  • Scanned by  - Ajay Misra
  • Missing pages 2,25 & 26 were scanned by Anurag Dixit
  • But still 27th & 28th were missing. Thanks to Devil who posted C2C Bengali version (and with happiness allowed to use missing pages) I was able to find out 27th in English (number & month was changed using photoshop)  & 28th in Hindi from other Ajay's scans.
  •  Finally tried to improve quality as it was not in very good condition. Until today I had not given more hours to fix than this one. Hoping all will enjoy this edited version also.
Making of The Jungle Patrol was never a easier task.  :) You don't worry, enjoy!

006 - Chakra Panthiyon Se Muthbher

It's originally the Sunday Strip #41 - The Crescent Cult (10-Apr-1955 to  07-Aug-1955) by McCoy which was printed in Indrajal comics as English tittle  "The Lunar Cult".
Now a days, finding out such early numbers of Indrajal with all pages in good condition is not easy task.  Many thanks to Abhishek Asthana who is supporting us providing his physical copies for scanning & A. Misra as always for scanning.
I'm not a photoshop professional, just tried to make it better as much I can. There is very rare chances we can get better copies.
74 years ago on February 17, 1936, the Phantom was first introduced to the world in a daily strip with the story "The Singh Brotherhood" AS GROWN UP person, but we say his birthday. OK, Happy Birthday  Dear Phantom & Fans! :))

Hoping you'll like this Cover to cover version.

114 - Pachasnvi Rani (Hindi) & some more covers

It's IJC version of D-79 - The 50th Wife (31-Oct-1960  to  25-Feb-1961) by artist McCoy. I wonder how many times Diana Palmer  was kidnapped. This time for becoming the 50th wife of King Ban. :)
Have a look at some next coming Hindi new versions. Mostly are cover to cover, some missing pages hoping to receive soon. Some issues need  photoshop repairing, so it may take sometime to post. If you wish to read any at priority basis, let me know.
These are not all, many more are coming. Keep visiting.

Bengali Diamond-Phantom & Indrajal Cover-Gallery.....

It's my 100th post at dara-indrajal.blogspot.com. Cheers!

Since I've started blogging ,back in April 2007,precisely 2 years and 10 months have been passed and here I'm with the 100th post on this blog-space!! :-)) This is something which I've never imagined then as I took blogging just for heck which only later became my passion!! :-)
Now,when Diamond Comics took the licence of Phantom/Mandrake from KFS,many fans like me were eagerly waited for that new series.Well,DC-P & DC-M were not that popular as like Indrajal but still DC delivered a fair job for allmost a decade and for them we got more dose of Phantom & Mandrake. Today I'm posting some DC-P(Bengali) covers followed by some vintage Indrajal covers too!! (English DC-P covers I've avoided as those are already available in Prabhat's blog scanned by Ajay.)
Some of following Ijc covers were scanned from one binder,50th in order, and for that reason their numbering couldn't scanned as I don't want to damage that binder. For fun,I've added that binder's front cover too, bearing "50" mark(in Bengali) on it!! :-)

Will post more such covers in future.....
ENJOY!! :))
