राजेश जी के जन्मदिन पार्टी में पेश है, एक और इंद्रजाल:

यह आखरी अंक था सिर्फ संख्या के रूप में|
अगले अंक से "खंड 20" (जो साल था) "संख्या" (उस साल का कौन नंबर) के रूप आना शुरू हुआ जो खंड 27 संख्या 8 (1990) तक चला|

शुरू में वेताल और मैनड्रैक मेरे दिल पे राज करते थे, पर फ़्लैश गॉर्डन, खासतौर से डॉन बैरी के काम ने मुझे बहुत ही प्रभावित किया| शायद वेताल से भी अधिक, कम से कम उससे कम तो नहीं| पैनल को बार-बार दुहराने की जगह नए, ब्रह्माण्ड घूमने की इच्छा सपनों में ही सही पूरी हुई| अगर अभी अपने सौर्य-मंडल के कुछ ग्रहों का नाम बदल फिल्म बनती है तो शायद बहुत सफल भी होगी|

25 Months of IJC Blogging: संक्या २४ खंड ३४ (गार्थ) रक्तिम अभियान and 99 (flash Gordon) The Witch Queen

आज २५ महीने गुजर गए, जब पहली बार इंद्रजाल कॉमिक्स ब्लॉग पे प्रकाशित किया था| अनोखा सफ़र है - पाठक से ब्लॉगर; ब्लॉगर से इंद्रजाल ब्लॉगर| अनगिनत  पहलु हैं  जिनको  बहूत ही कम दोस्त जानते हैं| कभी सोंचा भी नहीं था कि इंद्रजाल कॉमिक्स पोस्ट करूँगा और आज ........

मई - जून २००७: अचानक कुछ भौतिक कॉमिक्सों प्रतियों की खोज रहा था और अचानक  दिखाई दी एक इन्टनेट शॉप, जहाँ पे  डिजिटल इंद्रजाल कोई "सज्जन" बेच रहे थे| जिज्ञासा जगी , "क्या अब इंद्रजाल इ-कॉमिक्स के रूप में प्रकाशित होनी शुरू हो गयी?"  अपनी पहली तलाश को अधूरी बीच  में छोड़ कर लग गया आगे पता लगाने|  और इस अंतराल दिखा दी  TCP की ब्लॉग| धीमी इंटरनेट की वजह से, कई दिन लगे सारी कॉमिक्स को डाउनलोड करने में! लेकिन कुछ लिंक काम नहीं कर रहे थे, कुछ समय से कोई नया पोस्ट भी नहीं आ रहा था| इस दौरान बाकी सभी इंद्रजाल ब्लोग्स भी मिले| शुक्रगुजार हूँ, प्रत्येक ब्लॉगर  को जिन्होंने  कम से कम एक इंद्रजाल ईमानदारी  से  प्रकाशित किया है|

अगस्त २००७ तक इंटरनेट पे  उपलब्ध सारे इंद्रजाल डाउनलोड करने के बाद, कुछ ख्याल आये:

१.  क्यों न बाकी इंद्रजाल में से कोई १०० - २००  भारतवर्ष से अगली यात्रा मैं साथ ले आऊं और इन्ही ब्लॉगर  को  स्कैन कर भेज दिया करूँ|

२. एक और मेरी मनपसंद कॉमिक्स शृंखला, जो उस समय नेट पे उपलब्ध नहीं थी कि शुरुआत की जाय| इन्टरनेट शॉप में विदेशों के लिए  कीमत देख कर  निर्णय लिया कि अगली बार खुद ही इंडिया में खरीद कर साथ ले आऊंगा|

३. साथ में कुछ  ऐसा किया जाय, जो मेरे तरह  लेट-लतीफ़ लिंक डाउन होने की वजह से   इंद्रजाल ब्लोग्गेर्स के प्रयास से वंचित ना  रह जायें|  मैं खुद ही अभी भी कई कॉमिक्स के लिंक खोज नहीं पा  रहा था|

पृष्ठभूमि: समय का अभाव, काम में अत्ति व्यस्त, लेकिन इन कॉमिक्स को बचाने  क़ी लगन भी |  उस समय मैं एक दूसरा (कंपनी का)  इ-मेल इस्तेमाल कर रहा था| इसलिए E-SNIPS पे इंद्रजाल संग्रहित करने से पहले जिन सभी का  इ-मेल मिला, अनुमति मांगी| कुछ ने सहमती दी, कुछ चुप रहे, लेकिन किसी ने आपति जाहिर नहीं क़ी|

नवम्बर २००७: ब्लॉग्गिंग क़ी शुरुआत, लेकिन अपना ध्यान दूसरी किताबों और कॉमिक्स पे  लगाया, क्योंकि बहुत सारे लोग नियमित अन्तराल से इंद्रजाल  पोस्ट कर रहे थे| सोंचा था, दिसम्बर भारत यात्रा में मनपसंद कुछ कॉमिक्स साथ ले आऊंगा, लेकिन कुछ काम और निजी वजह से अनिश्चित काल के लिए यात्रा स्थिगित|

जनवरी २००८: एक मनपसन्द कॉमिक्स शृंखला के लिये कुछ ब्लागरों  द्वारा एक ब्लॉग  की शुरुआत  हुई| मेरी अपनी योजना में संशोधन: पोस्ट करने क़ी वजाय योगदान करने का विचार|

फरवरी २००८: एक इ- कॉमिक्स संग्रहकर्ता "भरत" से परिचय हुआ जिन्होंने कई अनमोल आमंत्रित फोरम का सदस्य बनने  में मदद क़ी| एक ऐसी ही जगह पे "अजनबी" से परिचय हुआ| 

 

२ मई २००८: उस कॉमिक्स ब्लॉग के एक सदस्य द्वारा कॉमिक्स योगदान करने का आह्वान| स्थिति की नजाकत को देखते हुए कुछ योगदानकर्ताओं से सिर्फ  कुछ समय तक के लिए मदद करने का आग्रह किया| कुछ लोग कॉपीराइट की दुहाई देते हुए, उस समय बात टाल दी|  "अजनबी" ने बेझिजक खुद पोस्ट करने की इजाज़त दी| साथ में  आग्रह किया कि  उनके इंद्रजाल कॉमिक्स स्कैन  को भी ब्लॉग पे  पोस्ट किया करूँ |  

१२ मई  २००८ से वो कॉमिक्स और १४ मई २००८ से  इंद्रजाल कॉमिक्स पोस्ट करना शुरू किया|वैसे तो इंद्रजाल  कॉमिक्स की शुरुआत bookscomics.blogspot.com पे हुई, लेकिन वो सभी अब इस ब्लॉग  पे भी उपलब्ध हैं| 

अजनबी की एक खाशियत हमेशा रही है, जिन नायक को अधिकांश लोगों ने नाकारा और जो दुसरे उपलब्ध नहीं करा पाये - उसको प्राथमिकता दी|

 क्यों ना परंपरा को बरकरार रखी जाय और शुरू करते है एक गार्थ कॉमिक से|

    यह कॉमिक्स TPH की इस ब्लॉग को प्रथम भेंट है| पृष्ठ ३१ और ३२ CW  द्वारा मुहैया कराया गया है| और थोड़ा सा पहले से  संपादित संस्करण में सुधार मेरे द्वारा किया गया है, वैसे इसकी कोई खाश जरुरत नहीं थी|

IJC V25 N25 - Special anniversary post in three languages

माझ्या सर्व मराठी मित्रांना आम्हा सर्वांचा सप्रेम नमस्कार. आज इंद्रजाल ऑनलाईनवरची इंद्रजाल कॉमिक्सची प्रथम संगणक आवृत्ती सादर करताना मला अपार आनंद होत आहे. खरे पाहता महाराष्ट्राच्या सुवर्णमहोत्सवदिनी हा अंक आला पाहिजे होता पण माझ्या घराच्या गंभीर परिस्थितीमुळे ते जमले नाही. खरे पाहता मराठी माझी मातृभाषा नाही, आणि माझा जन्मही महाराष्ट्राबाहेरचा पण गेले ३५ वर्ष मी महाराष्ट्रातच आहे आणि मराठीवर माझे नितांत प्रेम आहे. आशा आहे तुम्हाला हे कॉमिक्स खूप आवडेल. तुमच्या प्रतिक्रिया जरूर पाठवा. माझ्याकडे मराठी इन्द्रजालचे पुष्कळ अंक आहेत मी ते लवकरच सादर करीन. मराठी आवृत्तीचे स्कॅन्निंग मी केले असून तिला स्वच्छ करायचे काम प्रभातचे आहे.

Indrajal #10 Hindi and English- The Phantom's Ring

This post is dedicated to TCP who, 5 years ago on 17th April 2005 posted very first time an Indrajal Comic on the blogoshpere. TCP runs The Comic Project with 5 years of wonderful spans.

Indrajal Online goes online today ....

Almost 9 months have passed since last missing English Indrajal came online, However we are still receiving mails to provide links. Well, here comes a universal blog for Indrajal Comics.

We 18 persons are starting a blog with our own posts/scans which every can say proudly, “It’s our blog” – no matter whether he posted/scanned one or hundreds.

In the world cup, we are participating with not only 18 players (the Authors), but 18 of the supporting team (the Contributors) also. Some are playing both roles.

Today we are starting with 450+ English & 106 Hindi, however these are not all posts/scans by our team – very soon 700+ English & more Hindi can be downloaded from here. There are also plans for other languages. Marathi is confirmed, others we will try.

Is it limit? No. Still 82 player seats and unlimited supporting seats are vacant.

Will we win the cup? The participation is more important, the fair play is more important. We are going to make a blog for all Indrajal Comics friendly. Very soon some more blogs may join. All scans by members are coming very soon. Rest we’ll scan ourselves. We were already improving versions. So sky's the limit (Oh well it is limited by number of Indrajals published unfortunately :)).

To mark the occassion we are posting high quality version of two Indrajals.

First one is English IJC 355 - Infuriated Ghost. Scanned and cleaned by IUnknown. This was scanned by him in year 2004 for testing his scanner which he bought as a alternative of digital camera which was quiet expensive then :). Cover pages added recently. Illustrations in this comics are simply beautiful, Phatom and Diana never looked better. Story is also very good.

Second one is Hindi IJC 32 Oogooru Oogooru. Originally it was Gold Key # 4 which was published in Aug 1963. It has two stories of Phatom.

Bengali Diamond-Phantom & Indrajal Cover-Gallery.....

It's my 100th post at dara-indrajal.blogspot.com. Cheers!

Since I've started blogging ,back in April 2007,precisely 2 years and 10 months have been passed and here I'm with the 100th post on this blog-space!! :-)) This is something which I've never imagined then as I took blogging just for heck which only later became my passion!! :-)

Now,when Diamond Comics took the licence of Phantom/Mandrake from KFS,many fans like me were eagerly waited for that new series.Well,DC-P & DC-M were not that popular as like Indrajal but still DC delivered a fair job for allmost a decade and for them we got more dose of Phantom & Mandrake. Today I'm posting some DC-P(Bengali) covers followed by some vintage Indrajal covers too!! (English DC-P covers I've avoided as those are already available in Prabhat's blog scanned by Ajay.)

Some of following Ijc covers were scanned from one binder,50th in order,and for that reason their numbering couldn't scanned as I don't want to damage that binder. For fun,I've added that binder's front cover too,bearing "50" mark(in Bengali) on it!! :-)

Will post more such covers in future.....

Well! The first recession of 21th century is slowing down, swine flue is slowly disappearing from scenario, Obama has got Nobel Peace prize in advance - can we hope relatively peaceful year?

I'm hopeful, Welcome 2010! Wishing a Very Happy New Year!

In earlier post Rafiq had attracted attention towards the number of posts. Little confused. Can I say this one 101th post or 100th post?

For adding number of IJC as tag, I was forced to divide first post in 2 parts few weeks ago. And some posts were sifted here from Grouchy's blog with mutual understanding.

Saying it 100th or 101th post is may be not fair. After all what is number, I never target comments or going a get a gold medal for posting. Decide yourself.

However, today 1.01 and presenting IJC #101 at 1:01AM (this blog's time , i.e. 1 USA time-jone). Enjoy!

This story is Daily strips #096 - The Satchel (26 Dec 1966 - 18 Mar 1967).

Artist: Seymour Barry (b. 12/3/1928, USA), brother of famous comic artist Dan Barry. Until the late fifties, he assisted his brother with the inking of 'Flash Gordon' etc; and worked on other projects independently. He take over 'The Phantom' after Wilson McCoy's death in 1961. After drawing the adventures of the Ghost-Who-Walks for over 30 years, he retired in 1995.

Honestly, I like to read his version of 'The Phantom' more than others.
